Kansas City Home Care, Inc. is the vision of founder and president, Cheryl Smith, who began her career locally as a certified Gerontologist. As a care manager for the elderly and the disabled, she was unimpressed with the quality of home care being provided to her clients. Families complained to her about the lack of consistency in staffing and the inadequate care of their loved ones. At that time, private duty home care was only available through a nurse registry, Medicare agency or by hiring a private individual. Out of necessity to provide excellent service to her clients, Smith opened the doors of Kansas City Home Care in 1989. Now the area industry leader, Kansas City Home Care specializes in providing excellent home care services with a focus on quality, reliability and service.
