We are proud of our work in the Kansas City region, providing solutions to improve the physical, behavioral, and economic well-being of individuals, families, and communities. And since our beginnings in the basement of Metropolitan Baptist Church in 1970, we have remained focused on the cornerstones of health – body, mind and environment.

I am proud to have called Swope my home for more than 40 years and am excited by our continuing efforts to offer creative services to meet the diverse needs of Kansas Citians. Whether it’s providing primary health services to those who fall through the cracks of the health care system, or helping residents reclaim their neighborhoods through homeownership, Swope Community Enterprises and our member companies remain dedicated to serving our community for those who seek and need help, regardless of their socio-economic status.

As the needs of our clients change, we are also changing. We remain nimble to the ever shifting advances in medicine, health, and treatment options. We also recognize that in order to continue to successfully maximize limited resources to provide solutions and develop vibrant communities, we must remain flexible.
